How a trades brief actually runs

The trade decides part of the workflow, but most of it is consistent. Whether the role is a 6G welder in Houston or a plant millwright in Cleveland, we follow the same steady process.

1. Trade-specific brief

We come into the call ready. If it is a welder, we know which positions and processes the role needs. If it is a millwright, we know which OEM equipment experience matters. Pay rate, shift, project length, ticket requirements and screen pre-conditions all captured.

2. Pay rate calibration against the local market

Every shortlist is calibrated against current US trades pay data plus what we are seeing live on the desk this month. Pay rates in Houston differ from Indianapolis or Charlotte. If the rate looks light for the metro, we tell you before we start.

3. Vetted, ranked shortlist

Three to six candidates per brief. Tickets verified, references contacted, screen-readiness confirmed, MVRs reviewed where required. Notes on availability, nearest jobsite and pay expectations attached to every candidate.

4. Offer and onboarding

We coordinate the offer, the screen, orientation paperwork and start logistics. Day-7 and day-30 follow-ups confirm the hire is still on shift.

Categories we deliberately do not cover

Residential service plumbing, residential electrical service work and over-the-road truck driving sit best with sector specialists, so we point those briefs to trusted partner agencies. We will tell you within one call if we are not the right fit.

Got a brief that fits one of these?

Send it across or use the form. We come back inside one working day with a clear plan and a fee quote.
